As an Osteopath, I view the person as single functional unit.
This allows me to identify and address the root cause of pain, wherever it may be hiding.
“After enduring chronic pain in my right shoulder, I decided to visit Mr Husby’s office. Two visits and subsequent exercises, “homework”, were enough and the shoulder was fine. Thank you for your help.”

“I had my first appointment with Mr. Husby in February 2018 after having a lot of pain on my foot for a month or so. Since I am a ballet dancer I was struggling a lot at work but I simply couldn’t take time off. I was relieved when I met Aaron and he treated me with such professionalism. Next day at work my foot was almost completely painless. I am definitely going to continue my treatments with Mr. Husby.”
Emilia, ballet dancer
“For many years I suffered from pain in my right shoulder. The pain made it difficult for me to work, especially when performing ultrasound investigations. I have had several injections into the shoulder, but they did not provide a long lasting effect. That’s why I sought help from osteopathy, with Mr. Husby after 2 visits the pain was gone. Thank you very much for your help, and I’d like to recommend him.”

Osteopathy was founded in the 19th century by Dr. Andrew T. Still. It is taught as a full-time degree course in many universities throughout the US, the UK, and Europe.
In the Czech Republic, Aaron Husby is the first officially recognized osteopath.
Osteopathy is a distinguished degree, recognized and accredited throughout Europe. However, in recent years there have been a growing number of cranio-sacro or osteo therapists who have attended only a few weeks of training, which Osteopathy must set aside.
Health problems that manifest themselves in one part of the body may be due, in part or whole, from the effect of a seemingly unrelated part of the body.
Osteopathy chooses a holistic approach to each patient. Osteopathy diagnoses by examination, observation and, most importantly, palpation.
Osteopathy, however, fully respects the conclusions of its medical colleagues.
Osteopathy uses gentle manual techniques instead of medication in order to affect positive change within the body at the level of bones, fascia, joints, muscles and other tissues of the body.
The Osteopath will often recommend various exercises and or stretching, to compliment your osteopathic care and treatment.
Upon graduation from high school I joined the U.S. Navy where I trained and qualified as a hospital corpsman, and then as a surgical technologist.
After being honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy I worked for several years in civilian US hospitals. I also graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelors in history.
At the European School of Osteopath located in the UK, I obtained my Masters degree in Osteopathy. If you would like to learn more about my education, here is the original version: Integrated Masters Degree in Osteopathy, awarded by the University of Greenwich, London, with the integrated part being a Diploma in Osteopathy, awarded by the European School of Osteopathy (ESO, European School of Osteopathy in Maidstone, United Kingdom).
In November 2013, the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic officially recognized my education with a “Certificate of Recognition of Foreign Higher Education and Qualification in the Czech Republic”. This allowed me to take title of “Master’s degree in Osteopathy” (M.Ost). I was the first applicant in the field of Osteopathy in the Czech Republic.
In the spring of 2014 I opened my osteopathic studio in Litomyšl, and since 2015 I have worked in a collaboration with the rehabilitation clinic, Klinika Vital, located Modřice, approximately 15 minutes from Brno city center.
I am a member of the International Teaching Staff for the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in the UK.
– Your initial consultation will begin with a detailed medical history (in either English or Czech, the choice is yours).
During this time I may ask about your habits, hobbies and general lifestyle. This helps me understand more fully you as a person, and as a patient. I may also ask you to perform a few, very easy movements. I will also palpate specific areas of your body in order to help me to access your concerns as accurately as possible.
– Together we will discuss the course of osteopathic treatment
I will design an individual treatment plan and introduce you the process of osteopathic treatment. If you agree, we can get started.
– We will begin treatment
Osteopathic treatment is tailored to the individual patient.
Osteopathy often addresses spine and joint pain, but also, may help with headaches, allergies, asthma, pain and ear infections, digestive problems, menstrual problems or haemorrhoids.
Osteopathy may be beneficial for those recovering from an illness or injury. It is also useful to support sport performance, and to overcome stress and chronic fatigue. It is also safe and suitable for children and pregnant women.
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, preventative care is just as important treatment of an issue.
Osteopathy is not covered by health insurance
